Our children’s home is unlike any other. It is run by a team that is a family. Jessica, who is widowed, is mom, and her grown children and some of their spouses run the orphanage together with her. The best part is, now, because it is all one family raising the kids together, the children at the orphanage all view themselves as brothers and sisters. So, it is really a home for these children.
Please meet our team:
Jessica Iramwenya
Director, female Head Counselor, and the Home's mum. She ensures every child is doing fine. She is always the first to wake up and the last to go to bed, after she ensures all the children are asleep. She loves a clean home and enjoys to sing. She also loves to dance.
Collins Muyela
Director and Founder. Also, the official representative for the orphanage. He helps out with all the chores in the home as well. He loves farming, and doing any creative kind of work with his hands.
Bramwel Shahenza
Director, male Head Counselor, and Social Media Manager. Like everyone else who works here, he also helps out around with all the home chores. Like his mom, Bramwel loves to keep a clean home. He is known for being generous with his time and whatever else he has to give. He also loves cats.
Judy Dhadho
Director, Bookkeeper, Hair Stylist, and also helps with all the chores around the house. She is the House Mum whenever Jessica has an appointment outside the home. If you’ve seen our Instagram, you’ve probably seen photos of Judy doing laundry—it is her favorite house chore! (I know, we don’t get it either.) She also loves to sing and dance.
Quentine Chemei
Director and Caretaker of the security dogs, also an official representative for the home. And, of course, like everyone else, he helps out with chores at the home. He is the dog person in the family and he has the ability to communicate with our canines like a dog whisperer. He also loves to exercise and he is always encouraging the rest of us to keep in shape.
Ikuo Dimitrius
Internet Communications Support, also in charge of our small but growing poultry farm. He teaches the kids about chickens and how to raise them. Like everyone else, he helps out with chores around the home. He also is a natural born DJ and chooses the music when we get together, and he also loves to dance and teaches the kids all the new moves.
Job Agesa
Cook, Landscaper, and the keeper of our vegetable garden. Helps out around the kitchen and around the house with chores. He is the reason we have so many beautiful flowers in our compound. It is all his work and it comes from his heart.
Ann Guyato
Sous Chef, and helps in the kitchen by buying all the daily needs from the market. She also helps with all the chores around the home. She loves to dance. When her and Judy get together, you can guarantee that you will find them dancing with the children.
Johnson Dhadho
Maintenance and building support services. He makes sure everything looks good and works correctly. Johnson loves watching football (soccer for you Americans) and his favorite team is Manchester United. He also is an accomplished visual artist and loves to work in graphite and acrylic paint.
Evans Shivoga
Government-required Social Worker for Little Prinz. He makes sure we have crossed all our t's and dotted all our i's. Evans loves to travel and enjoys a cool swim in the summer. When he is not working you can also find him curled up with a good book.
